MisterClaudel has just announced a new title for a July release...PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS "Venus & Mars Sessions" 2CD featuring Studio Outtakes, some Rough Mixes and other related sessions.  Genuine Masters will provide another classic TMOQ-title in their Hybrid DVD-AUDIO catalog...LED ZEPPELIN "Bonzo's Birthday Party" 2DVD-R which will feature both Low Generation sources - Soundboard with Audience source filler to provide a complete show...and the complete Audience Tape with high resolution slideshow to accompany the May 31, 1973 L.A. Forum shows...the formal release date for this one will be July 7th.  I also came across a few NIRVANA releases that seem to be new to the shelves this week, 3 titles from the The Dead Star Co. Label (that's nice)..."The Sermon On The Mount" 2CD features the Aragon Ballroom Audience Tape from Chicago on October 23, 1993, "The Mindblower" 1CD pairs a couple of Soundboard fragments from The Palace in Melbourne on February 1st, 1992 and Lincoln, Nebraska on May 13, 1990, "Jesus Loves Me" is also 1CD soundboard from Chicago, this time and October 12th, 1991 performance...from Sappy Music Entertainment comes 1CD + bonus DVD-R called "Brain Drain", both the Audio and the Video are taken from the Proshot/Soundboard source of the Paradiso show in Amsterdam on November 11, 1991.

Idol Mind Productions presses on but this week it's with news of a MICK TAYLOR & THE HOT WATER BAND recording, the Limited Edition 2CD is called "Stateboro Blues 1987", taped live at Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on April 9th, 1987 and will be limited to 150 copies worldwide...Dog N Cat Records will add the ROLLING STONES Saitama Broadcast/Soundboard from April 2nd to their line-up in towards the end of the month with, surprise, "Bigger Bang In Saitama" 2CD which will also feature bonus tracks from the Tokyo Dome soundcheck on March 22nd.  Coming soon from Scorpio on their Gold Standard Label will be the TRAFFIC soundboard CD "Fillmore East Presents", taped live at The Fillmore East in New York City on November 18, 1970...As we mentioned last Wednesday via the News Ticker, the Y.S.P Label will have the MILES DAVIS 6CD set "Three Shows" out very soon, the first two discs are a live tape from Shinjuku Kohseinenkin Hall, Tokyo Japan on January 23, 1975...while discs 3 & 4  are sourced from a February 7th performance at the same venue, as are discs 5 & 6 - taped the following night on February 8th.  Seymour Records will release THE WHO "The Complete MSG 1976" 2CD + bonus 2CDR set (with the first 100 copies!)...the main discs feature a recently torrented audience master source from the internet of the bands' March 11th, 1976 show in New York - with the CDR set featuring a Soundboard Recording from New York on September 24th, 2000 (if I have translated my Japanese correctly!).  It appears there is a new EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER 2CD set just released on the Mindwarp Label...called "Koshien Battlefield", it features a live Audience source of the band from Osaka on July, 24, 1974...New from Nothing Songs Limited is the VELVET UNDERGROUND 2 Disc set plus bonus CDR "After The White Heat", which captures an April 17th, 1970 Audience Tape from The Woodrose Ballroom in Woodrose, Massachusetts on Disc 1 with Disc 2 featuring their Max's Kansas City rehearsal set from June 26, 1970 - the CDRs house the French Les Inrockuptibles Magazine Promo CD/EP with some live tracks from Club End on Cole Avenue in Texas 1970.

Catching up on some ELVIS PRESLEY releases...S&R Records will release a previously unreleased audience recording in July as "The Sound Of Vegas Volume 1" 1CD and features an excellent sounding tape from the Dinner Show performance on August 8th, 1973 with ELVIS in very strong voice...the release comes with a deluxe, full color 8-page booklet containing many rare '73 era photos and the tape itself said to be "professionally restored".  Probably being issued as I type are a couple of other EL titles..."Going Back In Time" 1CD from Straight Arrow features a Soundboard recording from the 8:30 show at the Sports Stadium in Orlando, Florida on February 15, 1977...look for another title called "Closing Night" just shipping to collectors this week which contains an excellent but incomplete performance from the February 23rd, 1970 Closing Show in Las Vegas...issuing label is unknown at time of posting.
