New LED ZEPPELIN titles to bring you up-to-speed on...Empress Valley has released their 3CD set "The 1975 World Tour" which features a slightly longer sourcetape from the Montreal Forum on February 6th, 1975 that includes the band introduction at the opening of the show...this was one of those unannounced issues from EV and actually sounds like a worthwhile acquisition...COMING SOON from Genuine Masters will be an upgraded Knebworth First Night DVD that will boast a significantly upgraded PCM stereo audio track to that first night proshot video (August 4, 1979)...look for that one mid-to-late September from the way it sounds.
When we outlined 4Reel Productions' Fall Release Schedule last week, we indicated that THE BEATLES "Making Of Sgt. Pepper's" DVD would likely be an October release...this one may be pushed up a bit with Japanese sources touting it on their "Coming Soon" communications...I'm tending to believe the October timeframe is more accurate since my info came directly from the label. But in this business, you can expect anything!...that is for sure. On a related BEATLES release note...Picture Perfect has issued the PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS double-DVD "Lightspeed" which brings together upgrades to the James Paul McCartney 1973 TV Special, along with One Hand Clapping Television Production on disc 1...the "Wing Fly South" featurette of their 1976 Wings Across America documentary comprises disc 2, along with a Melbourne soundcheck from Australia - these, and some bonus remastered promotional videos tacked on to both discs make this another interesting production from Picture Perfect.
  
Not sure if this is just a one-off but a Japanese DVD Label calling itself Pink Note will release the PINK FLOYD title "Mind Your Mother", which is simply a complete copy of "Mind Your Throats Please" featuring the first and last performances of Atom Heart Mother from the June 1970 Bath Festival and Amsterdam '72...Another new Label on the scene with a ROLLING STONES DVD is Underground Records. And their August release is called "Still Life", which also steals a compilation originally pieced together by avid collectors for community sharing at the start of the Licks Tour a few years ago...The Godfather Records utilized this for their "Make The World Go Round" and simply brings nearly all of the known 1981 American Tour proshot video and 1982 European proshot clips together...great stuff if you don't have it.
