Cheers to you all!  Thanks for making 2007 a fun collecting year to be hanging here at HotWacks On-line and what a year it was.  That Fourth Quarter was as fun as it can get with all the great titles that poured in.  If you haven't taken the opportunity to post your favorite titles for 2007 over on the Top 10 page, please take a few brief moments to round out the thoughts only a few of us have started.  Surely there are others clicking through who have opinions...have some fun.

After a seemingly long holiday stretch, it's time to dive back in and gather the silver disc announcements that have been made over the last 10 days, which include..."JFK", the new ROLLING STONES 2CD release from Dog N Cat Records brings a fresh re-issue of the June 17, 1978 audience recording...Sigma continues it's stellar PINK FLOYD string of titles with yesterday's announcement of "Zirkus Krone '70" 2CD featuring an amazing sounding audience tape of their November 29th, 1970 Munich concert...Over the past couple of weeks, Rising Arrow stay prominent and consistent by offering these amazing RAINBOW titles...the latest is the 2CD "Still I'm Sad" that presents the February 3,1978 Budokan audience tape and backing up a week the label unveiled the 4CD "Steel Breeze" that brings together two completely different sources of the Osaka show at Koseinenkin Kaikan on January 17, 1978...the Virtuoso Label kicks off 2008 with a nice stereo soundboard from YES, recorded at Boston Music Hall on December 11, 1974...and Vintage Master Premium Series fortunately opted to go silver disc for the new FACES CD "Too Drunk For The BBC" that brings back the alternate BBC Session from February 8, 1973 that Trial issued last year on the "In Concert 1973" set along with the more common 1973 BBC show to promote the Ooh La La LP...

...As we mentioned on the News Ticker, this Wednesday, January 9th will see the new DVD releases from Apocalypse Sound that features...QUEEN "The Final Summit" that apparently utilizes a new master source of the December 11, 1977 Houston proshot closed circuit feed video...JOHN FOGERTY "I Saw It On T.V" is a compilation of Television appearances over the last 10 years, starting with the October 3rd, 2007 David Letterman Show appearance on U.S TV and then the Glastonbury set from last June 23rd and finally jumping back to 1997's VH1 Storytellers episode...OZZY OSBOURNE "Flying HIgh" presents the 1989 Philadelphia TV Broadcast from the Tower Theater on June 4th...

...from A Goodfellas Productions are two titles arriving on the 9th...IRON MAIDEN "A Night At Palladium" 1CD containing a stereo soundboard from New York on June 29, 1982 and U2 "In The City Of Angels" 1CD compiles stereo soundboards from the Hollywood Palladium on November 29, 1981, the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland on December 8, 1981 and then Brenden Byrne Arena in East Rutherford New Jersey on April 15th, 1985 boasting the longest ever version of the Stones' "Sympathy For The Devil"...arriving Wednesday from The Godfather Records themselves are...BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN &THE E STREET BAND "The Big Fiesta" 2CD offering up the excellent Bilbao, Spain audie tape from November 26th and the label hops on the French rebroadcast of LED ZEPPELIN's October 10, 1969 with the single disc "L'Olympia" which is a must have recording.  It isn't confirmed if this has the DJ chatter edited out like Black Dog's version or not...and speaking of the mighty Zep...

...the Reunion concert bootleg competition is mighty fierce and this week Tarantura's "For Your Life - Legendary Legend" 2CD hit the streets and by all counts is fantastic and apparently utilizes the McTrainspotter tape that has been enhanced to bolster the bottom end which should sound great...thanks to member ALG for the heads up on the source info...
