...Arriving in the same manner as Largo 1973 & Spectrum 1973 earlier this year, there is an interesting new WHO 2CD set on the way simply called, "Live 1971" and contains what appears to be a low-generation tape of the Dayton, Ohio show at Hara Arena on August 13, 1971 paired with the San Francisco soundboard from December 13, 1971...Also just announced today is the new GENESIS title, "Executive Action" 2CD from  the Virtuoso Label which brings presents a soundboard tape from the Moody Coliseum in Dallas on March 19, 1977...Another No Label issue brings us BRIAN WILSON "That Lucky Old Sun" 1CD which leverages some 2007 demo tapes and bonus rare tracks from master tape sources...

...The Misterclaudel Label has seemed to pick up their production frequency over late Winter and Spring, the latest announcements feature THE BEATLES double-DVD, "Live In Japan 1966 Memorial" and presents a collection of video footage from their only visit to Japan, including both the "White" and "Dark" suit performances at The Budokan from July 30 & August 1st - presumably with press conference and informal tour footage of the band during their strange trip, rounding out the production...Also from Misterclaudel is PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS "Celtic Green's Playhouse 1973" 1CD containing the debut to disc audience tape from Glasgow on May 24, 1973...In LED ZEPPELIN release news this week comes the sole title Wendy Records, "Dallas Triumphant Return" 2CD that resurrects the incomplete soundboard tape from May 18, 1973 and bonus tracks from the Denver soundboard fragment tape from May 25, 1973...

...Strange Apple Records are behind the new GEORGE HARRISON single CD bootleg title, "Inside Of The All Things Must Pass" and features session takes from Abbey Road Studios on May 27, 1970...Tuesday, May 13th sees the new Apocalypse Sound DVD's for May hit the streets, and they include PEARL JAM "Sponsored By No One - The 1995 Tour Film" which presents 25 proshot live performances from their tour of the Far East in '95, plus some bonus footage from their Storytellers taping on Vh-1 on May 31, 2006 and Saturday Night Live on April 15, 2006...IRON MAIDEN "The Beast In Milan" DVD is comprised of 3 TV broadcasts led by the core piece taped at The Forum in Milan, Italy on May 9, 1993 and supplemented with features from TV Ataca Studios in Argentina on July 25, 1992 and Abbey Road Studios, London on December 10, 2006...THE CURE "The Art Of Dark" is also built with TV Broadcasts that include Valencia, Spain on March 5, 2008, Paris on December 8, 1979 and the August 25, 1984 concert performance taped at Barrowlands in Glasgow...

"Enjoy Yourself With No Regrets" 2CD captures their March 24, 2008 show at London's Royal Albert Hall with bonus tracks from Milan on March 18th at the Rolling Stone and Stubb's in Austin, Texas on March 12th...

...In closing Mid Valley released the ERIC CLAPTON title, "Live Birthday Party" over the weekend, the 4CD set wraps up the March 30, 1988 performance from the St. Paul Civic Center with bonus alternate session outtakes for the Pilgrim album/CD...
