...New announcements out of Japan today include a few No Label issues such as ROD STEWART "Last Night On The Town" 2CD, bringing the excellent stereo soundboard from Newcastle City Hall, UK on December 18, 1978...THE ROLLING STONES "Shattered" 2CD is also a No Label production that brings again the nice, 30 year old Cleveland audience tape from July 1, 1978 with the relatively brief show supplemented with bonus tracks that include the 8-track mixes of 'Miss You' and 'Beast Of Burden' as well as promo mixes/edits of 'Before They Make Me Run' and 'Shattered', there is also a single edit of 'Far Away Eyes'...Scorpio has added the BOB DYLAN/TOM PETTY & THE HEARBREAKERS "Live At Tacoma Dome 1986" 3CD to the July roster, it contains their July 31st, 1986 performance in Tacoma, Washington... ...Also new to the scene this week are Wendy Records' LED ZEPPELIN 3CD "Get Back To Where You Once Belonged" which contains the June 29, 1972 audience tape, and the No Label COVERDALE PAGE "Pride & Joy" DVD capturing the duo and band live at Castle Hall in Osaka, Japan on December 20, 1993...The debut of a new label, Tangerine Records, will be bringing the really stellar Schoeps Audience of the LED ZEPPELIN Reunion Gig to double-CD, this was originally intended to be a DVD-Audio but I think it was a wise move to play it straight with this source, the title is simply like the others out there, "Live At London's 02 Arena December 10, 2007"...originating from the same family is Rover Records new PINK FLOYD release, "How Time Flies" will introduce a new tape from London's Wembley Empire Pool on November 14, 1974 from the Mike B. archive (THE ROLLING STONES Sept. 8, 1973 first show, GENESIS April 14, 1975 from Satellite 6). Both titles should be out in circulation in the next week or so...Tarantura also issued a new PINK FLOYD set called "Beyond The Wall" 3CD this last week, it has utilized a new tape source for the Gilmour-led Floyd performance at Yoyogi Olympic Pool in Tokyo on March 5, 1988. Already on the way from Tarantura is the next LED ZEPPELIN Box Set set that will serve up a Limited Edition compilation of the Long Beach Arena tapes from March 11th & 12th, 1975 over 7CDs as "Bootleg License"- the superb complete Mike Millard tape from the 11th over 3 discs, the Millard tape fragment from the 12th on one disc which is also quite excellent, and then the complete but less engaging alternate audience tape from the 12th over the balance of 3CDs...Empress Valley's next ZEP product is slated to be "The Bachelor Boys First Stand In Osaka" 3CD which leverages a previously unreleased new tape source for the September 28, 1971...Scorpio continues their LED ZEPPELIN Fillmore Series with 2 new titles, "Drive Me Insane" is a 3CD set that compiles three different Fillmore East performances on January 31, February 1 and May 30, 1969..."Go West Young Man" 3CD featuring the Fillmore West tapes from April 24th and 27th, 1969...Mid Valley just released CLAPTON & HIS BAND "Final Show" 2CD that brings their Jones Beach, New York show from June 5th, 2008 to silver disc... ...Fans of BOB DYLAN's Supper Club shows from 1993 shall rejoice that the final stereo soundboard will arrive to market this week from Good Karma Records with "17th September 1993 - First Show" 2CD and we'll just eat that one up as well!...Keeping the flow of DYLAN steady is news from Hollow Horn that their third volume in their 2008 Recording Artist Series, "One Push Of A Button" could ship as early as this week. The details are: This set concentrates on TV performances in the 1963-1969 period (plus one from 1980!). Expect the usual high quality fold out packaging and best available sound quality! The track listing is as follows: ...Plenty of Magic from Crystal Cat for BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & ESB collectors this week too as 4 new titles are ready for snapping up...included in this round are "Phantom Magic Night For Danny In Tampa" 3CD with the April 22nd, 2008 peformance from the St. Pete Times Forum - the bonus disc 3 features 7 tunes from the April 30th show in Charlottesville, Virgina...there's also "Phantom Magic Night In Orlando", "Count Basie Theater Magic Night" from Red Bank, New Jersey on May 7, 2008, and "San Jose Magic Night" with the April 5th, 2008 show from California...
