Billy Joel Return Of The Stranger 30th Anniversary Edition No Label

...Over the weekend it was very slim in the release news information flow with just the 30th Anniversary Edition of the BILLY JOEL 3CD set "Return Of the Stranger" hitting the market...along with Tarantura's latest titles that includes the ERIC CLAPTON "#1619 Royal Hotel" 2CD set of the 'Mr. Peach' recording of the Festival Hall concert in Osaka, Japan on October 23, 1975...and, IRON MAIDEN "Maiden Japan Vol.2" 2CD which leverages the Toshiba-EMI tapes of the complete performance in Nagoya on May 23,1981 at Aichi Koseinenkin-Kaikan...

...*October 28th addendum: There is word that the vintage ROLLING STONES label, Vinyl Gang Products (VGP), has been ressurrected - or at least the legacy moniker - and that the producers will remaster previously issued titles.  The first three out of the chute will be "They're Really Rockin' In Boston" which utilizes a different audience source of the July 18, 1972 show than that of its' contemporary counterpart on the Dog N Cat Label ("Jailhouse Rock")...with the other two being "Germany 1976" and "Rock 'N Roll Animals"...

That's what we know for this Monday night!  Have a great week.
