...A couple of brand new YES releases will hit the street, courtesy of the Japanese Virtuoso Label, announced yesterday are the titles "Definitive Tourmato" which is a double-CD/DVD package containing a stereo soundboard audio tape from Wembley Arena, London on October 28, 1978 - and, a compilation of 'amazing quality' audience-shot video from the 1978 World Tour, plus about 50 minutes of the Friday Rock Show Broadcast version footage of that same Wembley Arena '78 performance on DVD...Also from Virtuoso, "Seasons Will Pass You" 2CD, a September 25, 1972 audience tape from a performance at Dillon Stadium in Hartford, Connecticuit... ...Hot off the presses in Japan as well are a batch of LED ZEPPELIN bootleg CDs...from Tarantura comes that strictly limited and numbered Seattle Box Set from March 21, 1975 called "Having A Fit" (shown above) which also contains poster. Coming soon from Tarantura are the Zep titles Newcastle 11/11/71 and "Box Of Tricks" Honolulu 1970 - both extremely limited runs from the premium label...Also pictured above is the latest from Wendy Records called "Memories Of Charlotte" 2CD featuring a nice performance from June 9, 1972 from a previously released audience source...Empress Valley has just issued the budget disc "First LP Different Mix" (below, images courtesy of Broken Arrow)...and starting out the preview of CD releases from The Godfather Records ready to hit the streets this Thursday, November 13th are the LED ZEPPELIN titles "That's Alright New York" 3CD featuring the stereo soundboard of their Madison Square Garden performance on February 12, 1975...and, "The Dancing Avacado" 1CD of their April 24, 1969 set at The Fillmore West, and though advertised as a soundboard tape, it is actually from a reel-to-reel source that was recorded from the stage and is one of my personal favorites... ...Also arriving Thursday to market from GFR are:...BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN "This Time It's For Real" 2CD of audience tapes from his trilogy of Vote For Change appearances last month at rallies for President-Elect Barrack Obama...OASIS "The Magical Mystery" is a 2CD soundboard tape of their Electric Proms show on October 26th in London...ELVIS "The Greensboro Show" 1CD presents a stereo soundboard from North Carolina on April 14, 1972...THE BEATLES "Paris Landing June 20, 1965" is a great single CD soundboard of their performance at Palais Des Sports...and there's the rare digital conversion of the GEORGE HARRISON & SPLINTER studio LPS, "Hari & Splinter's Dark Horse" 1CD featuring the album "The Place I Love" and tracks from "Harder to Live" and "Two Man Band"...THE ROLLING STONES "Complete '73 Affair" is a compilation of a complete Wien show from September 1st and selected juicy other common '73 soundboard tapes from that European Tour - All of the above are packaged in the deluxe, high quality triple foldout cardboard slipsleeves from The Godfather Records... ...Apocalypse Sound DVD have a trio of new titles hitting on Thursday too...THE ROLLING STONES "Through The Past Darkly: Sucking In The 60s" features the now ever-so-common sixties british and american TV clips and 1965 & 1966 newsreel footage and Irish Tour documentary piece...OASIS "Come In, Come Out Tonight" is the TV Broadcast of their October 16, 2008 Wembley Arena show...and VAN HALEN "The Complete Video Collection - The David Lee Roth Years" is hopefully a clean transfer of low-gen sources from all their MTV-era videos and special interview clips during the 78-84 heydey, looks great!... ...and finally, Thinman Records have issued a couple of new BOB DYLAN titles this week...pictured above are "Above The Mighty Beast" 2CD containing his performance from the Gorge Amphitheatre in Spokane, Washington..."The Air Burns" 2CD contains an January 30, 1998 show at the Tilles Center in Brookeville, New York and C.W.
