...Wendy Records have two new LED ZEPPELIN titles hitting the streets shortly...Above, "Triumph des Willens" 2CD set that appears to mimic the old Flagge release, "Sudden Attack", by presenting the core Frankfurt soundboard from June 30, 1980 and tacking on the abbreviated Nuremburg show from June 27th (where Bonzo ate too many bananas before showtime and got ill immediately after the show starts, causing the band to abandon the set after just 3 tunes!)...Below, "Legendary Reunion 2007 Remaster" is a 2CD/DVD set, providing a remaster of their original audio source tape, along with a silver disc DVD of this fantastic show from 02 Arena on December 10, 2007, the video source unverified at this time...

Queen A Night At The Nagoya Wardour Label Queen Legendary Christmas Concert 1975 DVD No Label

...We have details on a couple of new QUEEN titles to relay to you tonight...First off, the next release from Wardour is "A Night At The Nagoya" (at the what?!?!?) 2CD set presenting a very nice audience recording of their performance Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium inNagoya, Japan on March 23, 1976...And, there's a non-label DVD effort on the way as well called "Legendary Christmas Concert 1975" which delivers a proshot video of their December 24, 1975 performance at the Hammersmith Odeon, London...looks great!...

...Tricone is kicking off March 2010 with some serious mid-eighties ERIC CLAPTON packages (below)..."Caught In The Act" 6CD presents three consecutive nights - 2 from Yoyogi Olympic Pool, Tokyo on October 5th & 6th, 1985 and, October 7th from Kouseinenkin-Kaikan in Osaka..all superb audience recordings (apparently from the same taper, providing nice consistency)..."No Turning Back" 6CD presents another 3-night run, the first from October 9th, 1985 at Nagoya Civic Hall in Aichi, Japan, the second from October 10th at Festival Hall, Osaka, and the third show from Sun Palace Hall in Fukuoka on October 11th...again, all superb audience recordings from the same avid taper...

..Just to underscore Riccar99's tidbit from late last week, it appears that Wonderland Records will continue their focus on the comprehensive and sizable box sets with THE ROLLING STONES 1975 U.S. Tour being the next to cover, thanks Riccardo for sharing that....And those are the wonderful pieces to talk about for this February 23rd. I don't know about you but I am really sick of Winter and looking forward to the coming month of moderating weather and increased exposure to daylight!...Thanks for swinging in and I hope you all have a great week.
