...I hope you are/were as pleased as I was when this DVD announcement was shared last Wednesday. It's really fantastic that we are presented with a silver DVD boot from THEM CROOKED VULTURES 2009 Tour!...Out now from Archive Masters Series is "Elephants, Reptiles & Scumbags" serves up a couple of proshot videos: Koln, Germany on December 8, 2009 that appears to be the whole set with an interview of the band, and a portion of their set from Reading, UK on August 29, 2009...should be a fun DVD!...

...Beano keeps the portions robust with their new 6CD package ERIC CLAPTON & JEFF BECK "Two Gunslingers In The 02"...what we have here are a pair of superbly taped shows from the 02 in London on February 13th and 14th, 2010, swiftly transferred from the master audience tapes for our listening pleasure...

...Last but certainly not least or to be hastily dismissed are a pair of No Label LED ZEPPELIN titles that may just be worth a damn..."Stick Out!" 2CD is yes, once again the wonderful gem that is their Copenhagen concert at K.B. Hallen on May 3rd, 1971 where we get a host of rare live offerings from the then soon-to-be released fourth album..So why might it be worth a damn? There seems to be some widespread speculation that these titles are anonymously presented from the folks from TCOLZ, and their knack for scouring up some nice alternate tape sources and lower gen tapes make this intriguing to this particular collector...Also on the way is "Berkeley First Night" 2CD which could potentially deliver collectors a cool upgrade to the first Berkeley concert on September 13,1971...this is a primo time for the mighty Zep on the road and I'm crossing my fingers we may actually have some enticing 'definitives' for a couple of solid dates...one can always hope, we'll see..
