...New PINK FLOYD pressed on marbled vinyl from Aurora Borealis Records...above is "Oude-Ahoy Hall, Rotterdam, Netherland, November 13, 1967- transferred from Bernard White's master audience reel tape, the show was the bands' first in The Netherlands and the only one recorded with SYD BARRETT..now, don't ask me about the rhyme/reason around the approach to the random numbers for the various pressings but here's the  breakdown: 130 red marbled,119 Yellow marbled and 133 White marbled vinyl...below is "Star Club, Copenhagen, Denmark, September 13, 1967", this is also taken from a Bernard White master reel and the unfortunate aspect to this performance is that the bands' P.A. wasn't working properly thus the vocals are difficult to discern -this is that show...again we get the random marbled vinyl pressings and here is how this one stamps out: 121 red marbled, 122 Yellow marbled, and 117 White marbled...

...A new pair of ERIC CLAPTON releases again this week...pictured above is "Missing Night", a 4CD set from the Tricone Label that presents a November 30, 1981 audience recording from Koseinenkin Kaikan, Aichi, Japan that has been transferred to disc from the original master tapes, the other 2 discs feature the Osaka show on December 1st, 1981 at Festival Hall...below we have "Seattle 1981" 2CD which features a superbly recorded show from the Paramount Theater in Seattle on March 7, 1981...The announcment that has me intrigued and seems much more interesting is NEIL YOUNG & THE STRAY GATORS WITH CROSBY & NASH "Last Album Forum"  2CD on a generic label which documents an incredible evening at The Forum in Englewood, California on March 25, 1973...
