...The bulk of the material on silver disc releases this week showcase WHITESNAKE, the first two from Langley..."Budokan 1983 Monitor Mix Deluxe Edition" 2CD presents the stereo soundboard of their February 22, 1983 Budokan show and initial pressings come with the bonus CDR "Fool In The Rain" 2CDR set documenting the following night on February 23rd via an audience master tape..."Olympic Night" 2CD features a June 13, 1988 sounboard recording from The Olympic Pool in Tokyo and is packaged with the bonus DVD-R "Rule The Wembley", an nicely captured audience-shot video from Wembley Arena, London on December 31, 1987..

...The third WHITESNAKE installment tonight arrives courtesy of the Shades Label and is formatted in similar fashion as the titles mentioned above...."Armed Forces" 2CD features what appears to basically be a silver disc pressing of the bonus "Fool In The Rain" CDR set containing the superb audience tape from The Budokan on February 23, 1983, interestingly enough, the bonus CDR that comes with this is "Budokan 1983 Cozy Mix" with his personal sounboard skim tape of the February 22nd, 1983 Budokan show...so, you can get these any which way in the same batch....

...A couple of new vinyl pressings from Whispering Soul...above, BOB DYLAN "rumblin' through New York" 2LP on green vinyl contains the wonderful April 13, 1963 New York Town Hall concert, presented here in nearly complete form as the officially released track 'Last Thoughts Of Woody Guthrire' was intentionally omitted...

...also from Whispering Soul is U2 "360 Tour" single LP on red vinyl, the set consisting of soundboard recordings from the Frankfurt, Germany 2010 fragment tape on Side 1, and Paris 2009 recording on Side 2...
