...Sigma is back in the ring this week with PINK FLOYD"Day Of The Animals" 2CD set that houses what is being touted as an incredible upgrade and 'truly perfect' sound to the July 2, 1977 show from Madison Square Garden via new master tape transfer that provides much greater clarity with the high frequencies...this should make this a much desirable piece if that is true as it's an excellent recording and show, albeit a raucous and noisy atmosphere!...The set comes with the bonus 2CDR, "Spitting Incident" which must be a fan-produced offering they have snagged that compiles the complete July 6, 1977 Montreal show from all 6 known audience source tapes...
...On the way from Rising Arrow is RAINBOW "Freezing Blow" 6CD set that brings together 3 different audience sources of the same Sapporo, Japan concert at the Nakajima Sports Center on January 27, 1978...this set is accompanied by a bonus DVD-R "Blackmore's Rainbow Japan '78" which is presumably footage from the same show but there were no details provided around that bonus piece of the release...
