...Look for the new LED ZEPPELIN release from Wendy Records to hit the channels in the next two weeks, it's called "Take My Breath Away" and this 2CD set contains their San Diego concert on September 3, 1970...On the way from Wardour is JEFF BECK "Who Else In London" 2CD and is extremely limited...It contains his Shepherd's Bush, London show on October 9, 1999 and the first 50 sets come with the bonus DVD-R, "Who Else In Toronto"...
...DEEP PURPLE "Perfect Chicago Nights" 4CD is coming from Darker Than Blue and packages up two excellent audience recordings from the UIC Pavilion in Chicago on February 15th & 16th,1985 - early copies of this one come with the bonus 2CDR "The Untouchables: Remastered"...For the bootleg vinyl hounds out there, heads up...Red Tongue Records is getting their next deluxe ROLLING STONES box set readied for release, it's called "The Real Steel Wheels Alternate Box Set" with 5LPs/3CDs...
...A bit of a rarity here, the Zion Label has DARYL HALL & JOHN OATES "Big Bam Boom In Manchester" 2CD on the way...this presents a stereo soundboard tape from their June 29, 1985 concert at Riverfront Park in Manchester, New Hampshire, initial sets also come with a bonus DVD-R, "The Liberty Concert 1985"...
...And finally this week, not so much a rarity as a novelty...here's a non-label DVD which is a numbered and stickered limited edition (does this matter any more?) of THE BEATLES "Let It Be: Japanese Broadcast Edition"...this is a digital transfer - from what we do not know - of the April 14, 1984 Japanese TV Broadcast of the film and runs 89 minutes...the screenshots above look pretty good but I'll leave that up to you!...initial copies of this one come with the bonus DVD-R "A Hard Day's Night (Japanese dub)"...thanks for stopping by and have a great week!...
