REVIEW:

This recording is a tribute to the late Lonnie Mack who left us few days ago; this is a soundboard recording of the first concert at the Lone Star Cafe in New York in early July 1985 which is famous for the presence of Keith Richards and Ron Wood on the last two tracks, the latter being over 13 minutes long  This is a nice recording and a due memento of this great guitarist and music personality; unfortunately though being a soundboard this recording is not stereo and is a bit too flat lacking   emphasis on the guitar sounds which are basically at the same level of the other instruments, a mixed version would of course been better but the set is enjoyable anyway.
