Copenhagen
1984 is a very good show from Bob Dylan and his band and this release from Midnight Dreamer confirms it: an excellent release with a great stereo audience recording that presents this performance. The show begins with the usual set of songs, amongst which a shining version of "All Along The Watchtower" with
Taylor leading the way; the first change being the presence of "Mr. Tambourine Man" in the middle of the set (missing "Just My Imagination" from Greg Sutton, who is announced by Dylan but not on this release). Before "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" there is a hint of "Lay Lady Lay", a song never played on this Euro tour but could very well have been. The second part of the show has great versions of "Simple Twist Of Fate" and "Tangled Up In Blue". The end of the concert presents some different songs, "Why Do I Have To Change?" and "Love Minus Zero/No Limits", following the usual encores. The last song is a version of "The Times They Are A Changin" which features Santana helping out. A nice set that presents a very good concert.
