REVIEW: |
This concert held in the Wembley Arena shows Dylan's stop in
London The footage is shot from the right side of the stage and is pretty clear on average even if at the beginning there are many out of focus moments. The audio portion has been enhanced and quality is very good. The band is an eclectic one from the True Confession tour
Europe section. The
Temples in Flames Band had Tom Petty and his Heartbreakers with also Roger McGuinn and the Queens of Rhythm, a backing group of female singers from "Forever Young" onwards. Dylan's performance is good, going from one song to the other almost without interruptions and no stage comments. On "Chimes of Freedom" Roger McGuinn joins the band on stage and on the final encore "Rainy Day Women #12 and
35" even Ron Wood comes on, bringing the number of guitarists playing up to six including Dylan himself. This is an enjoyable performance and the steady footage allows it to be appreciated in full.
