The Faces small comeback tour opened in   Europe at the Bospop Festival in the Netherlands at the beginning of July; this is the complete recording of the show that featured a good combination of Faces classic hits well played by this new incarnation of the band that features Mick Hucknall of Simply Red fame on vocals playing with ease the vocal parts that belonged originally to Rod Stewart and even if his voice has none of the grasp attractiveness of the former singer, it still reaches all the high notes and present a remarkably suitable alternative maintaining the right feel for each song, from the hard rock to the soulful ballad. With Glen Matlock on bass (formerly with Sex Pistols) and Ron Wood s son Jesse on guitar the three remaining original members play their part with reasonable conviction never giving out the feel they are just walking through their old shoes,but showing a certain degree of pleasure while going back to their past and the audience follows as well. Despite being advertised on cover there is no introduction and the concert starts with "Miss Judy s Farm"; this is a nice recording but in mono and this is strange in 2011, we can guess the reason is it had some deficiency on one channel.
