REVIEW:

This release presents a double shot of Faces showing some of their many reunions over the years (another one is coming at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a few weeks). It starts with a long interview (34 minutes!) from 1986 backstage at Wembley Stadium that features also Bill Wyman, this has been the very first reunion of the band in thirteen years and there is also Ronnie Lane that came in the end; after we get all three songs from Wembley pro shot. Unfortunately "Stay With Me" is cut right at the beginning. Then it is up to the O2 Bubble (excellent footage) and Goodwood shows from 2010 with Mick Hucknall on vocals and Glen Matlock on bass, the latter has great video but a slightly saturated audio output on the first song. Disc Two starts with some tracks from a concert in Denmark from 2010 that featured Chris De Margary on sax on "Had Me A Real Good Time" and "Feel So Good", this is the first time this footage comes out, it is very nice both in audio and video quality. Then footage from the 2011 Cornbury Festival that was already included in Had Me A Real Good Time DVD release but video quality is better here. The final encore "Stay With Me" was actually released officially on a double cd from the Festival promoters just few weeks after the event. After two complete concerts we get some tracks from the Weert festival from Holland then and after that comes footage from the Ewhurst concert held later, this being excellent having been shot from just one feet from the stage: video quality is stunning and audio too. This time the Faces added two Small Faces encores to their set adding “Tin Soldier” and "All Or Nothing"; another hot spot is certainly "Stay With Me" with great close up on Ron Wood's guitar solo. Finally we then move to Japan where we get the two songs that haven t been broadcasted on Japan tv. This product is excellent featuring lots of great footage from latest Faces concerts and a great opening long interview with all original members from 1986.
