REVIEW:
A nice title that combines as much of the 70's Ron Wood solo material, that can be found. D-Stone does a really great job "mastering" and assembling their titles. The jewel here is the lead-off stereo mix version of the Kilburn concert from 1974. Wow. Absolutely classic. The band is top-notch, with Keith in a coherent state...and a jovial but humble Rod Stewart making a cameo on a couple of tunes ("Mystifies Me", "Take A Look At The Guy" & the bonus track from the mono mix "If You Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody"). Aside from the bonus track featuring Rod cited here, the Kilburn Mono-mix is identical in content. The rest of the 2-DVDR set consists of some welcome and fun promo clips produced by Warner/Elektra for Ronnie's "Gimme Some Neck". The "Seven Days" video is nicely done with Ron performing all instruments in a clever editing job. "Buried Alive" is a straight forward performance video of the band with Ringo Starr on drums...also fun to watch. The Oshawa C.N.I.B. Benefit footage is extremely disappointing and pretty poor newsreel footage. It's nice to have but you will only view this segment once. Disc 2 consists of the complete Largo Pro-shot concert footage with mono soundboard audio. Not a very good performance but this version is the best to surface yet. Not an essential title to purchase but if you have resources within your trading community, arrange to obtain it just for the Kilburn concert. It is great.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
