REVIEW:

This is Apocalypse Sound's finest title to date.  Finally, a production worthy of their primo packaging!

This is obviously taken from a Mexican Satellite Broadcast of Pearl Jam's last night of the tour in Mexico City.  And it is superb on all fronts.  There is a slight problem with the color imaging, more noticable on the close-up shots...but I'm giving this one the highest marks on all counts.  It is just a wonderful broadcast, capturing the band in a relaxed and fit state.  Plus, this does seem to be the entire concert. Perhaps someone from the gallery can chime in here.

Highlights of the performances include Hunger Strike, a crowd favorite...and my personal fave here is I Believe In You.   There is a funny sequence in the middle of the show when the band welcomes local Spanish Guitar Trio, Chucko y Los Clasicos, to the stage for a little interlude.  Just the contrast of these Mexican performers and the guys from Pearl Jam is really funny!  Eddie Vedder's got a good wine buzz going about now and his expressions and interaction with these guys is too much.  The crowd loves it and it gives this show a very unique aspect.

You get the essential message here.  This is a wonderful DVD and a highly recommended addition to your collection...whether you are an avid fan or casual.  It's great.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
