REVIEW:

Either you want to view this title because you love Elvis or for morbid curiousity.   There really is no in betweens.    Many Elvis fansites praise this 1977 performance only 6 weeks before his death and although Elvis still sounds pretty good when he sings, his appearance is almost scary.  Also, he can't seem to form a full sentence (kind of like a drunk at the corner bar) when he attempts to entertain with his quirky comments.  Okay Mom - I Love Elvis too but you can see his end coming watching this video.  I was entertained but I'm not sure in which way.   I love music (and Elvis - really!) and I love horror movies.

This was originally filmed along with the Rapid City concert 2 days later by CBS for an upcoming "Elvis In Concert" special they planned to air that fall.  Shelved due to his demise, someone pulled it from the CBS vaults and it circulated on bootleg video for many years and has now made it's appearance on DVD.  Quality is that of a third or fourth generation video but really not bad (can see all you care too?).   Performance is 1977 Elvis.  Artwork is nice but doesn't quite fill out the clamshell case.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
