REVIEW:

Solid line recording of the Prinester, but unfortunately it has 3 second gaps between each song. This suggests it was either sourced from individual MP3s or copied from an existing CDR (circulated via the fan-treeing network) that itself had been copied without using Disc-At-Once software. The latter is probably the case, and in fact if you go to the following Prine setlist website www.geocities.com/prineshrine2/bootlegs/cover19.html you can view alternate artwork for just such a fan-created artifact of the show.

The show features Prine solo acoustic, in exceedingly good voice and genial mood. Bonnie Raitt pops in briefly on “Angel From Montgomery” while frequent Prine sideman Phil Parlapiano contributes accordion, guitar and harmony vocals here and there.

Nominal artwork, just one-sided insert and panel. -- OSWALD
