T his release puts together many sources for Keith Richards guest appearance on Howlin for Hubert celebration from New York; at first we get Keith Richards comment on Hubert Sumlin Tribute caught from his site where it was posted, recorded with a small camera on a small private plane. The first track is Little Red Rooster rehearsal footage with James Cotton from Keith s own site followed by some audience footage showing him seated at the back of the stage at the beginning of Goin Down Slow; then we get 3 different sources for Goin Down Slow  and 2 for Little Red Rooster. Spoonful comes from 3 different sources while the final encores Wang Dang Doodle and Smokestack Lightning both come from 2 sources.Most of the sources are different angles of a performance but in some cases there is a big difference when the taper is located upstairs. Then we get three sources for Keith s impromptu rendition of Promised Land with Elvis Costello in Boston 2 days after and two sources for his appearance with Johnny Depp from                                                       New York s The Hiro Ballroom from October 2011, the second source is remarkable as it is not that close but better both in audio and video showing a clear document of that night s surprise appearance.
