REVIEW:

This release presents 1988 interviews, radio and TV reports concerning Talk Is Cheap promotion, this project began after discovering a partial Rapido extract on the web, this being a French music program and then another part of the interview was located. The best find has been finding the complete Make No Mistake acoustic version, which he did on Rapido. The musical parts have been upgraded and thus this has become a new Frankenstein production; as bonus were added
the 2 interviews that were in the Talk Is Cheap (World Of Rock) and a live version of   Make No Mistake, a duet with Norah Jones. Here the line up was: KR (gtr, voc)/Norah Jones (voc)/Steve Jordan (dr)/Ivan Neville (keyb)/Robert Cray (gtr, bvoc)/Leroy Hodges (bass)/Rev. Charles Hodges (keyb)/Archie Turner (keyb)/plus brass. This was a benefit concert in aid of God s Love We Deliver, in which KR also sang Happy. The overall sound is great, unfortunately in mono, the acoustic version of No Mistake although less than 2 minutes in length is a gem, too bad the disc lasts only less than 29 minutes though.
