The review

This is the vinyl counterpart to Cpt Acid 091compilation of the US 1978 Stones tour of the same name (on 2 cds) which was reviewed here early on; as usual the broadcasted tentative cover presents a higher number of printed copies reported (350), based on pre-orders that has then be reduced to 300. Contrary to other similar releases there is no hint of a ‘manufacturer’, but we know it comes from WLR.

Not only the sound quality but also the ease of listening as a total live album is outstanding here. The third instalment of the soundboard compilation following the US tour in 1969 and 1972 is the highest unity and quality of this recording; this is definitely Satisfaction Guaranteed from beginners to enthusiasts! There is an addition that was not on the cd version though, that is the final track Street Fighting Man from Passaic despite the sound problems presented.
