REVIEW:

This vinyl release presents yet again another historical Stones concert, the famous show from Leeds 1971 that has been officially released with the Sticky Fingers expanded edition in June 2015, so actually this is a pirate, not a bootleg since it is a copy of that, complete stereo recording as highlighted on front cover. Packaging is great, although front cover reproduces the old vinyl front cover that lacked the first two numbers. It is amusing as well, since on the back cover there is advertisement for SF Deluxe Edition, as well as the Stones official logo (red tongue) and well known label   details (COC…); the inside cover is even more funny, with additional tracks information taken, in their words, without any permission from Hoffmann Recording Index (Weissbuch); then there is also the reproduction of Keith Richards message of condolences for Bobby Keys death. On the right side then there are photos of other vinyl releases from the same label, which is the only that released Live Licks on vinyl. Talking about musical content this is the famous Stones concert at Leeds University 1971 which was first broadcasted by the BBC as early as 13 April 1971 by Lee Travis (later available on cdr) and has been the subject of many bootlegs over the years, on vinyl it came out as Get Your Leeds Lungs Out in many versions ( TMQ 73033, Excitable Recordworks 4511.1, TSP 030, (Royal Sound Records 01), Charlie Watts Live At Leeds (Speed Rec.3002) , Let It Bleeze (Cako 3122),Stoned Stones (Apollo 786), Sonic Barbecue (Beacon Island 2S717), Extended Play ( Great Live Concerts EEP 030), Remember the Kind Of RnR That Made Your Feet Lose Control (Cream of the Crop 7002), Sing This All Together (SE 7700) and also on Mick Taylor s May I Have A Records Contract? (MT 23001 Kay Records), Shades Of Orange (Decca RS 2597)   The Live Album (Fanatic rec. 522), Get Your Rocks Off ( TMQ 2806), Miscellaneous (Speed 3001), In Concert (Diamond Sound 004), Leed Stones The Flamin Groupie (Speed Rec.3002) and In Concert 1971 and recently as a coloured LP by TSP called Hello Leeds, Bye Bye UK. It can even be found on an ep called Rare Little Rock n Rollers (Coll.Series 001). On compact apart from the recurring Get Your Leeds Lung Out in many a form (Swinging Pig 040, Halcyon label, SODD 014 with this same cover, DAC 089, Masters of Sound 001 and For Fans Only 011), we had Leed Guitars ..TV Stars (TOTR 002), Rolling Stones Live (CDDV 5512), Hell Stones (Lobster 033), Live in Leeds (Sister Morphine 022), Diverse Harmonics (VGP 012) and then Get Your Leeds Lungs Our M.Diamond 2004), Get Your Leeds Lungs Out Revisited (TSP 215) in 2012 remastered as Live Leeds University (Teague Raw)  Leeds, England March 13th 1971 (Archive Masters), Live in England 1971 (A.Curcio 02) but also Leeds Lungs Hips and Tongues (Crazy Mama) and With a Needle and a Spoon (Country Trash 1225); Get Your Rocks Off (King Snake   002)Tricky Fingers and Sticky Ringers (Luna 8316), recently the Palladium label released it as Refectory, University of Leeds, Yorkshire (similar title from AMS as digipack) and from Beelzebub label called Tax Free. Last year came out Get Your Leeds Lungs Out (Goldplate 1205) 2 cd which used a rebroadcast from BBC 6 radio for a better sounding release. Then recently some tracks were used on Around in a Roundhouse (DAC 165)There is also a remastering job performed by Capt. Acid on Sticky Beggars Bleed in Exile (AP 012)Tracks from this concert can be also found on Acetates (Midnight Beat 045), Schoolboy Blues (LLRCD 052)., Hot Stuff Vol 1 (G.Dane 9416), Sticky Fingers The Alternate Album ( Decca SLK 1971), Memphis, Tennessee Girls (SODD 131), Rockstars in Concert (STEMRA 6117112), Sticky Fingers Alternates (SODD 106), Greatest Rarities vol.1 (Adam VIII 49-029) On The Needle (B&B 1007), The Real Alternate Album Beggars banquet (RTR 008), The Real Alternate Album Let it Bleed (RTR 011), Jumping Jack Flash (Alegra 9017), The First Decade(BigBox03), List Legal Live Tracks (Rattlesnake 235-6)

Side D side ends with one song from London Roundhouse (again from SF Deluxe) and two songs from BBC TV Pop Goes Sixties.
