This release presents a copy of Xavel IEM discs of the Stones Coventry and Manchester 2018 gigs.

The concert in Coventry was released as Southampton/Coventry 2018 ((Exile EXCDR-NF20180506-A/B/C/D/E) a 4 cdr & 1 DVD-R which documented both dates, but also as Coventry, June 2^nd, 2018 (Rubber Duck RS 046), on silver disc as No Filter in Coventry (Xavel   SMS 164)   while 2 songs can be found on Welcome Home The R.Stones 1 (Rattlesnake 311-2) and the same ones on No Filter in London 1^st Night (Crystal Cat 1093-4).

This concert marks the first time the Stones returned to Coventry after their 1971 show during the Farewell Tour, a good 47 years ago. This time the recording is good but then again there are gaps, like f rom the end of  Ride em On Down to the beginning of Like A Rolling Stone and the last part of (I Can t Get No) Satisfaction, because IEM source was missing due to equipment problems this time, and the missing parts were complemented with an audience source. Unfortunately the difference in audio output is quite evident, with the audience recording not that great with regards to sound quality, but we are talking about one minute missing on Disc One and the last few seconds of Disc Two. Charlie Watts birthday (as well as Ron Wood for the previous day) is well celebrated by Jagger during his band introductions for another night to remember. The Stones play better here, possibly due to the tour entering its third week.

June 5^th 2018 was the very first visit the Stones paid to The Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester which was documented on a 3 LP yellow vinyl set called Shattering Old Trafford (Casino Records), while on compact ion a double cdr called Old Trafford, Manchester, UK, on silver disc as No Filter in Manchester (Xavel SMS-165) and on Hear It Like The Stones (WLR NF-06) with 3 songs appearing on Welcome Home R.Stones 2 (Rattlesnake Rec. RS 313-4) and 2 on No Filter in London 2^nd Night (Crystal Cat 1095-6), the last two shows of this first leg of the tour were released together as Manchester and Edinburgh 4 cdr & DVD-R set (Exile EXCDR NF20180659 ABCDE).

Here we have a recording which had some problems, but very minor ones since from the opening to Jumpin Jack Flash s start, only Bernard s IEM source was available (Xavel label s comments), that   is 40 seconds, after that it is a perfectly balanced multi-stereo IEM matrix source. In addition to that, there is a part where some noise pops up, caused by some master generated, like at the beginning of Paint It Black . The surprise song is Shattered that was not played for a while, this version starts slow but builds up well, ending in good shape; we also got a new verse during the rap part of Miss You: where are the girls with their credit cards and high heels on and Mercedes Benz and their tits out?  So this digipack presents nice sounding IEM matrix recordings that were only available in Japan at a quite expensive sum and could be useful for collectors aiming to expand their live documents of the latest Stones activities at cheaper price.
