REVIEW: |
The second
Taylor release from Grexit label
presents a concert held in 2000 at Nashville, at that time Taylor s Band
consisted of Max Middleton on keyboards, Robert Ahwai on second guitar, Michael
Bailey on bass and Martin Ditcham on drums; we have here the first four songs
that are classic A Stones Throw tracks on Disc One, which ends with a 14
minutes version of You Gotta Move. Disc Two features more known blues stuff and
instrumentals including a 26 minutes long Goin South as well as Dylan s Blind
Willie McTell, the set ending with Boogie Man where we can dig the drummer s
ability to keep track of the many times changing of the song .This concert came
outr as a Nashville 2000, no label 2 cdr with the same name and another one
called Jack Legg s 2000 (Trial 159) which we have already reviewed in here. As said
before this label has very attractive packaging with lavish gatefold covers and
the picture discs themselves that remind old vinyl platters including disc grooves.
