REVIEW: |
In this volume we get the Lone Star Café 12 December 1987
1st show; here, though, o
nly the first 30 seconds in the intro are coming from
Maidenlane, all the rest is a mix of both sources: the Maidenlane source and
the previous circulating source (decelerated by -3,7% to be in sync).
All the recordings have been de-clicked and amplified. In Maidenlane’s
recording the tracks have been edited and in the circulating version the
transitions reworked. Note on both recordings there’s a gap after Goin’ South,
certainly due to tape flip; in this show there was played an unusual song for
Mick Taylor, Save The Last Dance For Me, a classic 60s tune made famous by the
Drifters.
