The review

This release features Mick Taylor Verviers concert and since the newly found tracks were in a better quality it was decided to make a mix with the other sources in order to get the complete show in the best possible quality. Hopefully the other tracks from this better sounding source will appear someday. The Line up is the same as the one that played in Hoorn. Three sources were used for this project, for source one Tracks 1-4 and 6 from Disc One and part of Tracks 8,9 from Disc Two have been duplicated and their sound amplified, for the second source Tracks 3.4 and 6 from Disc One and 6,9 from Disc Two were duplicated and Tracks 1-7 on Disc Two from the third source have been equalized (+ 30% for the left channel) prociding a little more trebles and duplicated.
So for this show three versions were available, one posted by Heiloobaas thaf had the best sound but it was incomplete. There were only some tracks available (8) and not in the correct order. All the segments (banter etc…) between songs have been deleted as well as sometimes the first seconds of the songs; the second source had the correct sound but consisted only of the second part of the concert from the middle of Goin South (incidentally cut into three parts) onwards. The third version was the most complete version, even if it misses the end of Little Red Rooster, but the sound was worse than the previous 2 ones and it was running too fast (+ 2.48%). Thus a mix of the three sourceswas created in order to present the full show with the best possible sound output; of course the passage from one source to another is a bit annoying but it has been tried to make it more pleasant. For example on the second version You Gotta Move was very incomplete (the long intro was cut off and the ending part too; now this rebuilt version includes the great intro, the Catfish Blues segment and is around 8 minutes longer, so here it starts with the old version up to 2.47 when the new one kicks in until 8.55 when the old one is used to finish the song. Goin South is not as long as in the Hoorn concert and the beginning is not that well recorded either, it becomes better sounding at 8.39. For the artwork pictures coming from a review of the show were used.
