Here is another
counterfeit release that collects the RnR (Rock n Roots on cover actually, not
Rock n Roll) songs that influenced the early Stones; many tipes of compilations
like these have been released over the years, many times on cds given away as
bonus to magazines, however here we get some notable ones like She Said Yeah by
Larry Williams, all these songs come from the 50s from I m Moving On (1950)
through
Money, She Said Yeah, Fanny Mae,
Diddley Daddy and Poison Ivy from 1959 thus it is somehow fitting to hear them
on vinyl.
