REVIEW:

Volume two of this series documents the New Haven stop of Ron Wood solo US Tour 1992 . All available versions were identical and unfortunately with lots of problems, particularly in the first 3 tracks. All the best was tried to make them more listenable.

Track 1 Testify: there was only music on the right channel, the other one with digital noises, so the left channel was duplicated, amplified and more treble added.

Track 2 Flying: in the first part there was only music on the right channel and in the last part only in the left channel (in the middle the music was very low and partially lost): the beginning and end have been separately reworked like Track 1, the middle part was boosted to make the music more audible and then all parts reconnected.

Track 3 Breathe On Me, here the first part (until 3.11) had to be reworked like Track 1 and part 2 (after 3.11) reworked as the following tracks (see below).

Track 4 Show Me and all the following tracks: both channels have been rebalanced (+30% to the right channel), more treble added and the sound amplified. Then phase correction applied (the right channel was for 0,0015s ahead the left).

Track 5 Josephine had digital noises erased at 2’02 and 2’03.

Track 8 Pretty Beat Up had hundreds of digital noises from 2’45 until 3’ which have been deleted.

On Disc Two track 6 It’s Only Rock’n Roll had a digital noise at 1’06 and another at 1’07 deleted. The same for Track 7 Show Me [Groove] at 1’04. Also, the transitions between tracks have been reworked so now each starts with a song. A weird thing about these concerts is that the single Show Me was played twice. As far as quality this is certainly a poor recording, but having been reworked it is listenable; what is hard to understand though is why it was split in 2 discs since their combined length is less than 80 minutes (79.29).
