REVIEW:

The New Barbarians tour continued day after day with no apparent break, so after Inglewood came Oakland; all the circulating versions from this shows come from a soundboard recording first released by the C2C-label as Barbaric (C2C 11). What has been used here is the version from the Exile-label called California Grooving (EXCD002AB). Not much had to be done here except for de-clicking and reworking the transitions between the tracks that now start with a song. Note a fade in/out before Breathe On Me (hence the first seconds are lost). A little noise at 0’06 in I Can Feel The Fire was deleted. This is an excellent recording, not perfect though due to high frequencies lack at times, but the longest of the lot for sure.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
