REVIEW: |
This single
cd comes as a bonus disc of the Stones Auckland New Zealand blu ray from
Empress Valley featuring two takes of this song that was produced by George
Harrison in 1969: the 10 acetate is basically a jam that has no backing singers
and is longer (11.23) than the 45 rpm track (3.44)
that features vocals and upfront organ, both
being unreleased that are the precursors of That s The Way God Planned It.
Personnel include George Harrison himself, Eric Clapton and Richie Havens on
guitars, Keith Richards on bass, Ginger Baker on drums. Packaging has a single
cd cover which shows on front a copy of the original acetate and on the back a
short summery of the content. This is a nice token that presents some
recordings previously uncirculating that are certainly appreciated by
collectors.
