Here we have the Cleveland recording from the Winos 88 tour, all available versions were identical, one was called Cleveland 1988 (Barbaric Sound Experience) and both missed the biggest part of Time Is On My Side (maybe due to a tape flip) and were running too fast; another problem on this recording is the presence of several fluctuations of its intensity. The main effort focused therefore on trying to equilibrate the sound and upgrade it as best as possible. At the end of How I Wish and at the end of the show the sound intensity was diminished in order to amplify the rest a bit better. Luckily there is also the video from this show, where was located a more complete version of Time Is On My Side (1’30 minutes longer) … the song is still uncomplete but now less than 1 minute is missing. The video called Cleveland 1988 (Collector’s Edition) was also interesting in order to find the correct speed for the audio recording which had to be decelerated by -4, 3%; note that there is a fade in/out after Happy on the encore break. Moreover, some micro-gaps between the tracks were edited out and the transitions between the tracks has been reworked as usual. The sound output is good enough although in mono, it is possible that the taper was too close to one of the speakers.
