This concert is well known since it has been officially released, although incomplete, in December 1991 after, it was rumoured, Jane Rose showed Keth some bootleg copies having bad sound. A bootleg called Hollywood Palladium 1988 (Mistral Music 9102-3) was in fact released missing Connection. This release presents the whole show including Connection, however taken from the official release. On collectors market it must be said that came out in 2022 by Stonyroad a work called Hollywood Palladium, but that had a faulty channel duplicating the good one, so this Millard release is a real upgrade that also presents nice in between comments, like the ‘Happy Birthday Keith’ chanted by the audience before Time Is On My Side. It seems Mike Millard was asked by a friend to go taping this concert and he did that using his friend’s equipment; here too almost nothing from Millard’s Connection is included, apart from the end, being supplemented by the official version. The sound of this recording is excellent, very open and despite some shouts from people surrounding the taper, on average clear enough, the only problem is its title, since they actually played Hollywood on this date and not Los Angeles where the Winos played the days before.
