REVIEW: |
A superb disc from White Flag that documents what would be the bands' final UK gig, playing at The Reading Festival.
This is the line-up of Phil Lynott, John Sykes, Scott Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton and though I don't care for the addition of the keyboards - the band is focused and on fire. The recording has a great mix that leads me to believe this was either from a broadcast or recorded for broadcast. Very nice.
The packaging is really wonderful presented in a wallet-style, 3-panel foldout cover with full color pictures of the individual members of the band and onstage live-shots. Superbly designed and produced which makes this one a very high recommendation. |
