REVIEW:

Here we have number 5 of the series, a concert that happened just a week after the previous one, the line-up consisted of Ron Wood on guitar and vocals, Ian McLagan on keyboards and vocals, Bobby Keys on sax, Simon Kirke on drums, Gregg Allman on vocals, organ only on some songs, bass guitar player unknown. This is a good recording with the added bonus of Gregg Allman as guest, a musician hardly involved with the Stones; he is singing lead on Rock n Roll Music and on Little Red Rooster

the setlist is similar to the previous concert but for the inclusion of Rock Me Baby and Green Onions and the addition of Brown Sugar with Ron Wood walking into Keith Richards shoes for the iconic starting riff and Bobby Keys playing his famous inspiring solo.
All available versions of this show were coming from the same recording, one was closer to the master recording but with the left channel louder and also some microphone noises on the right one, the other ones have been reworked as mono recording, only keeping the left channel, which was duplicated. Here the first version was kept but it was tried to upgrade it wherever possible.
Note a gap has remained between tracks 1 & 2 (the beginning of Rock And Roll Music is missing).
Am I Grooving You and Truly have defaults on the right channel coming from the recorder (nothing could be done). On Little Troublemaker, from 0’13 until 0’34, the right channel was damaged, so it has been patched duplicating the left channel. Rock Me Baby was cut in two parts with a gap at 0’37, now the song has been rebuilt and also have been deleted microphone noises around 5’54.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
