Four Originals consist of four of the Alan Douglas overdub projects: Douglas would have musicians overdub backing tracks to unpolished Jimi studio tracks. Tacky. But, many of us grew up listing to these four albums: War Heroes, Midnight Lightning, Loose Ends, and Crash Landing, and so it's cool to have them on CD.
