The review

This was one of the first releases of this particular show on CD and unfortunately only contains 3 tracks.  Upon listening to this release I could definitely tell that it was sourced from the video soundtrack.  The recording lacks so much of what is present in the true soundboard which was released many years later.  At points this release tends to sound a bit crunchy on the high-end and I've attributed that to the video source used for this release.  This is my opinion.

There are a few spots of slight digi-noise on this release but nothing that is trully noticable unless you're listening closely.  One thing that jumped right out at me was at the 32:53 mark of Dazed there's a slight drop out of audio.  At the 32:57 mark in Dazed the recording abruptly goes back and repeats the last 10-15 seconds and then cuts the song short.

One of the main reasons I got this release was to have it to compare to the many other versions of this show I have.  It definitely doesn't live up to the many versions released since but it is a nice piece to have in my collection.  If you're a pure collector at heart and want everything then by all means grab one.  If you're looking for the best versions of every show then it's a safe bet that you can pass this one by.
