REVIEW:

An outstanding Japanese Rarities Compilation.  There is not a lot to say except this could pass as a legitimate import release from Sheryl Crow's Record Label (just look at the front art!).  Most of this material is familiar even to the casual fan, except the B-Sides.  Again, what strikes me as being so appealing is that the producers of this disc did a wonderful job in sequencing the material.  It plays like there was some real thought behind it.  Nice artwork with good use of photos and layout.

On a subjective note, I have a real "love/hate" thing for Sheryl Crow.  Yes, she's cute and talented...and she can rock.  But she is always everywhere...being everything to everybody!  This CD illustrates exactly what I'm talking about.  Look at the contrast of collaborations and material.  Some would say versatile, and I would agree.  She does everything well but nothing great....if that makes any sense.  Her attempt at any style has simply become generic.  Let's just leave it that.. this disc showcases her versatility in embracing styles.  Yes, that will do.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
