Here is Volume 5 of the Stones Sidesteps project, presenting a concert that was held in Edinburgh in order to raise money for Ethiopia and featured this personnel: Charlie Watts on drums, STU on piano, Rory Gallagher on guitar and vocals, Jack Bruce on bass and vocals, Don Weller on sax, Willie Garnett on sax), John Picard on trombone, Dick Heckstall-Smith on sax, Rick Wakeman on organ and John Martyn on guitar but just on few songs. To realize this release 3 versions of this show have been used; all these versions are coming from the same source, but there was only one which was lossless, so that is the one used mostly with the other ones used to complete Waiting For The Call, as this track was cut after 7’49 s. In order to complete it a mix of the other two versions was used and the result is very good, because the frequencies seem to be complete now and the transition invisible; the intro/end was slightly upgraded a little bit and some gaps between Walking Blues & Waiting For The Call have been cut, nothing more.

This show was released by Breakdown label some years ago (BD 232) on a single cdr in stereo, in fact the total length of both discs would allowed this to be a single disc release as well.
