A gem of a document from another musical master. You would almost think this was a broadcast from the set-up and quality video production, but it doesn't seem to be. This source video seems to be a low generation too. Classic black & white feature with some cool and smooth jazz!
The concert is a short one, clocking in under 45 minutes...but the crowd is quite respectful and appreciative. A nice little DVD and a nod to Cat's Meow for sourcing this one.
Backing up Davis are: Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter and Tony Williams. Jazz enthusiasts will enjoy this one! |
