The Jack Bruce Band was the first venture former Mick Taylor joined after leaving the Stones in   December 1974; the band assembled and soon toured Europe in spring of 1975 despite having no studio album to promote (and sadly a studio album never came out). In 1998 the BBC show was released officially on cd and after 10 years also "Without A Word" came out on the 3 cds set called Spirit. Here we have the whole performance including the missing song on video. The video part of this set has thus great value for collectors presenting the whole concert that did not come out on “Old Grey Whistle Test” DVD in late 2005. As for the audio part it has the mid May Gothenburg concert. There are relatively few underground releases from this band, however Gothenburg came out as Weird of Hermiston on cd and then as Bass,Guitar & Carla as a  2 cdr set with additional bonus interview. This release presents the same concert in soundboard quality with a somehow different mix.
