The review

This release by former Queen drummer presents Roger Taylor in a concert held early this June at Wintershall where he was joined by Jeff Beck and Ron Wood. The concert focus on some of Queen s greatest hits starting with "Radio Gaga" sung by Taylor himself. "Heroes" is a cover of David Bowie hit and on "Voodoo Chile" Ronnie Wood joins the stage for a rendition of this classic Hendrix tune. After another Queen hit ("Some Kind Of Magic") which was written by him as well as "Radio Gaga" it is now Jeff Beck's turn to show up and add his guitar to "Say It's Not True" and Hendrix's "Manic Depression" before the final "People Get Ready" and "Nessun Dorma" (a favourite of his as well) with Roger Taylor on percussions. Playing is a bit scholastic at times from Roger Taylor's band but the over enthusiastic feel is appreciated by the audience. This recording is an excellent audience one with great spectrum of frequencies and very less audience intrusion, packaging is professional with photos from the event on front, inside and back covers.
