The review
This release
presents the whole recording of the Concert for Sandy Relief from 12 December
2012 all in one single DVD that lasts over 3 hours and a half. The recording is
taken from the Palladia broadcast with the broadcaster logo permanently at the
bottom right end of the screen. Picture and audio quality are excellent despite
the obvious compression which had to be used in order to fit everything in one
disc. The flexibility of the DVD medium allows certainly this release to be
easily playable all over the many players that are out in the electronic market
today and the digipack packaging offers a very convenient way to store the disc
with its massive content as well as a good looking collectable and compact
solution for those hoarders that collect a lot and always love to save some
space on their shelves. It is not complete though as there are missing Adam
Sandler, the whole Chris Martin set and the final Alicia Keys song Empire State Of
Mind, that was sung with the New York Heroes on stage.
