REVIEW:

This volume is a corrected version of Vol 07 from the series devoted to Ron Wood guesting with Bo Diddley and his band at Woody’s On The Beach. A newly surfaced video includes 30 minutes of excerpts from the 2 shows that Bo Diddley and Ron Wood did in June 1988 at Woody's On The Beach. The sound quality is good but sadly it is very partial (only 30 minutes for both shows of June 21 and 22 together). By comparing them with the audio recordings we noticed that there had been mixtures of the 2 shows in the video but also in the audio recordings! A lot of time was spent to identify the real origin of the different recordings and here are the results:

#1-21 corresponds to volume 06 of this series (dedicated to June 21)

#1-22 corresponds to volume 07 of this series (dedicated to June 22)

#2 is the video source.

Obviously, the line-up is the same as the previous night, but there is a special guest: Bobby Keys from Little Red Rooster through Black Limousine. Note that in the previous version of I’m A Man was a mix from the two dates and only the 2nd part from the track was really from the 22nd June. As bonus it has been added a merged version from the mutual part between both sources which also helped to find the correct speed for the previous source (it must be accelerated by +3,7%).
