REVIEW:

This release is he second remaster Cpt. Acid did for this concert, this time the speed was corrected since it was running too slow and phase and level were corrected too plus a very gentle equalization applied. This concert came right after the release of Truth, in fact the first 2 tracks come from such album, Bonnie Dobson song Morning Dew follows although Stewart just mentions Tim Rose, just before a furious version of Jeff’s Boogie which offers many guitar solos. Next comes The Sun Is Shining, the Elmore James song that is called Blues Deluxe in some bootlegs and the set ends with a rare live take of the most commercial adventure of the early Jeff Beck career, Hi Ho Silver Lining sung by Beck himself backed by Rod Stewart. The sudden and unexpected death of Jeff Beck opens now for fans and collector the possibility that his catalogue of live appearances will open with the release of shows from the past that maybe the man himself had intended to release on a later date; if it will be this way this concert is one of those to be considered. This remaster presents the best possible version of the early Jeff Beck Group live in concert with all instruments loud and clear., the only complaint being the concert shortness.
