REVIEW:

Recordings from this show appear on lots of bootlegs: We Love You (Scarecrow 021-22), Blues De Luxe, Clambake (BDM 003-4), East West, The Fillmore Masters Plus More (Scorpio) but all are coming from the same source, sometimes lossy and quite often with speed problems. The version used here is from a boot called Clambake (Beckdoor Music – BDM 003/004) which had the best sound. The recording has been de-clicked, slightly amplified and the transition between the tracks reworked. Also, the sound has been re-focused. This version had to be accelerated by +6%. Note a short fade in/out after The Sun Is Shining (at this point some noises coming from the tape recorder were eliminated). There’s a microphone problem from 0’27 to 0’30 in Jeff’s Boogie and another one at 2’16 in Rock My Plimsoul - they were in all versions so they could not be deleted. This is the first recording of the series that needs 2 discs due to its length, but the quality is good.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
