REVIEW:

This release comes a special bonus to the first buyers of San Bernardino 75 (Wardour 137) together with a DVD-R of the 1974 Kilburn Ron Wood concert, this is a remastered version that sounds excellent indeed. This concert was released   two years ago from the last US tour of the Faces. This concert came out first on Midnight Dreamer and then on Uxbridge in a slightly more cared release. It is here presented in a beautiful double slimline set with extremely good sound, too bad the packaging is somehow rushed up, as there is no back cover.  The band plays very well and this is a powerful performance that sparks energy when the Faces play their most known fast hits but also attention during the more melodic ones. There is room for both Stewart and Wood solo tunes somewhere in the set list with Ron Wood also singing his parts. This recording is a very clear one and would have deserved a silver release for sure. The set list is interesting too featuring both Take A Look At The Guy and I Can Feel The Fire. The second disc is shorter (but both would have fit into a 90 minutes disc) featuring many known hits of the band that finished their set in the 75 tour, with Twisitin The Night Away.
